Linda is responsible for all operational aspects of Charter Oak, with a primary focus on overseeing the firm’s new-business area. While Linda’s responsibilities affect many of Charter Oak’s functions, she and her staff abide by a common rule: To provide the highest level of service to their clients (who just happen to be the firm’s advisors and brokers).
Like many young people, Linda Troiano didn’t know then how some of her early-adult choices were actually preparing her for and pointing her to her eventual career. There was no strategy in her high-school volunteerism with people with special needs—just a draw to help others. Her psychology studies were mostly undertaken out of curiosity. Though if one were to inventory the qualities that make Linda successful in her role today—relationship-building savvy, ability to get at the heart of a challenge, and quick problem-solving—it would be easy to conclude she was made for the work she does.
A native New Yorker, Linda found her way to Massachusetts in 2002 and joined Charter Oak in 2005. As Linda’s colleagues quickly learned, you can take the girl out of New York, but you can’t take the New York out of the girl. Her directness—another one of Linda’s lifelong personality traits—was quickly seen as an asset to her role.
An avid sports fan, Linda lives in Westchester County, New York.
