Gina is responsible for recruiting advisors to Charter Oak and assisting with their professional development.
When you’re both the student and the teacher, you’ll see things in a different way. Gina Furano should know: With three degrees under her belt, a background in higher-ed, and a long career in recruitment, she’s always shifted seamlessly between learner and educator. Combined with her studies in psychology and organizational leadership, these dual roles help Gina excel at matching the right people with the right environment and helping them align their intrinsic motivations with their work. It’s all part of her “secret sauce” to guiding recruits to a stronger and more sustainable career path.
Gina also shares these professional strengths and her special brand of sparkle with high school students, helping them to choose the right colleges and serving as their mentor.
Outside of work, Gina’s year is punctuated by two very important events: boating on the Long Island Sound during the summer, and her annual voyage to Disney World.
