If Chris Richards were to define his career with a quote, he’d choose this: “Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value.” His affinity for these words comes from his own hard-won experience. As is the case with most lifelong entrepreneurs, Chris has succeeded and failed in equal measure, but it wasn’t long before he realized that his successes were simply byproducts of adding value for someone else.
Chris has had his share of opportunities to add that value. In leadership roles within the automotive, food service and financial services industries, Chris has left his mark on each by taking something good and making it better for the benefit of the companies for which he’s worked, his customers and clients, and the advisors he coaches. By leading with this instinct, the success has indeed followed. Chris has been recognized with some of the top honors in each of the fields in which he’s worked, but especially in financial services.
While Chris has been an influence to many, he is influenced most by his two young sons, with whom he lives, alongside his wife, in Norwalk, Connecticut.
