I N T E R N A L    S A L E S    S P E C I A L I S T

The Internal Sales Specialist will support our product line specialists (Life/Disability Insurance, Annuity, Investments) as they provide exceptional sales support and service to our advisors. This role will be crucial to the firm’s Case Design Center, working jointly with specialists, to assist advisors with case planning, product recommendations, and marketing/sales concepts.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Partner with product specialists to support and develop firm sales growth
  • Field inbound case questions and insurance-illustration requests from advisors
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of core product offerings
  • Coordinate with specialists on case design and advisor opportunities
  • Proactive outreach on sales opportunities and firmwide campaigns
  • Coordinate with training department on development of our inexperienced advisor group

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Manage sales department’s firmwide outbound communications
  • Manage Design Center internal content library
  • Support multiple locations both virtually and on site, with some travel required

  • 6-month performance review


  • Demonstrates strong relationship management and sales skills
  • Demonstrates ability to identify and recommend process improvements
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow


Education + Experience
  • 4 years/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in the financial services industry is preferred


  • Life, Health, and Securities license. If no license, candidate is expected to obtain within first year of employment
