COMMUNITY IMPACT

WHAT IS THE FUND?

A philanthropic initiative of Charter Oak Financial focused on both charitable giving and volunteerism.

OUR MISSION

To extend our corporate philosophy of “redefine possible” through philanthropy in all the markets we serve.

A HISTORY OF GIVING BACK

As Charter Oak has grown, so has our concept of community giving. Our fund was originally established as the Three Up Foundation, and focused primarily on microlending to inner city businesses in and around Springfield, MA and New Haven, CT. Three Up was re-established in 2009 as the Charter Oak Fund to distribute financial grants more broadly in all the markets we now serve.

Today, we touch causes vital to our neighborhoods and near to the hearts of our associates. Since its inception, The Charter Oak Fund has granted more than $270,000, funding grassroots initiatives and locally represented national nonprofits.

MEANINGFUL MEASURES

In addition to grassroots giving through the Charter Oak Fund, we measure our impact through the actual work we do: Helping people achieve their goals, protect their families, and set a path for financial security. Here’s how we’ve made a difference in our own back yard.
