About the Role

As Charter Oak’s Brand Implementation Specialist, you’ll help to deploy the Charter Oak brand across internal and external channels, with a focus on promoting brand content through the firm’s digital channels, and assisting our advisors in incorporating strategies that maximize their chosen brand positioning. This role collaborates with multiple departments and reports directly to the Chief Brand Officer.


  • Assist in the promotion of overall brand uniformity and consistency across all digital, print, and other channels
  • Onboard inexperienced advisors by assisting with profile and webpage setup, introducing resources and content, and communicating/reinforcing best practices
  • Serve as the dedicated marketing resource for inexperienced advisors by promoting and helping to implement branding best practices throughout their marketing approach
  • Generate engaging content (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news) for our LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram profiles
  • Maintain the firm’s website, including implementing content, making technology fixes, and staying current on trends related to functionality, user interface, and security
  • Establish, build, and maintain compact websites for the firm’s cobranded teams
  • Promote and manage the firm’s charitable fund
  • Serve as the managing editor of a 2X-weekly digital internal newsletter
  • Maintain the firm’s intranet, including collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure content remains current
  • Assist with graphic design projects and video projects as needed by the Chief Brand Officer
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required

Measurement Criteria

  • Consistent growth in social media followers, engagement and web traffic
  • Consistent representation of the brand across advisor presences, indicating effective onboarding of new advisors
  • Efficient use of the firm’s charitable fund, measured by a healthy mix of firm- and advisor-level donation requests, prudent investments, and engagement in community-specific social campaigns


  • BS degree in marketing or relevant field
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Fluency in web development platforms such as WordPress
  • Content-management experience, including excellent writing skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • An eye for design
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
  • Knowledge of current technologies and trends in websites and social media
