North Haven, Conn. June 1, 2016 — Robert J. Kauffman CLTC, an associate of Charter Oak Insurance and Financial Services Co., one of the largest general agencies of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual), has been recognized with MassMutual’s Exceptional Life In Force (ELIF) honor.
ELIF recognition is a measure of an agent’s long-term success and dedication. Qualification is bestowed on individuals who demonstrate year-over-year practice growth; unwavering commitment to quality business; and retention of client relationships. Of MassMutual’s approximately 5,000 field agents, Mr. Kauffman was one of 14 agents to meet the necessary ELIF criteria.

A veteran of the financial services industry, Mr. Kauffman practices under the name Kauffman Associates, a fixture in the greater New Haven community for 62 years. Mr. Kauffman is Certified in Long Term Care (CLTC) and focuses his practice on life insurance, long term disability insurance, long term care insurance, estate planning and executive compensation plans. He works with individuals, small business owners and large corporations.
Outside of the office, Mr. Kauffman is the current president of the Walter Camp Football Foundation. He resides in North Haven.
